Project Description:

In 2007, working in conjunction with Joseph Constructions and Multiplex Constructions, VCP supplied concrete pumping services for the Newport Quays Stage 1 project in Port Adelaide. The Newport Quays project is creating a unique harbor-side comminuty, consisting of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments. The project provides waterfront locations, and includes both private and public marinas. The entire project is to be completed in two stages. Stage 1, consisting of 141 apartments, is complete, and Stage 2 will comprise another 143 apartments. VCP is proud to be associated with Stage 1 of Newport Quays, and looks forward to the commencement of Stage 2.

Project Description:

In 2008, we commenced work in association with McConnell Dowell/Built Environs Joint Venture on the Techport, Australia site in Osbourne. This site is Australia's premier naval and defense industry hub, and is being developed and managed by the Port Adelaide Maritime Corporation. The entire contract is worth over $170 million, and will result in world-class ship building facilities, including a 210 metre-long wharf, transfer system, and Australia's largest ship-lift; 156 metres long, capable of lifting ships weighing up to 9 300 tonnes.

Project Description:

Currently, we are working in conjunction with McConnell Dowell Abigroup ADP Joint Venture on the Desalination Plant being constructed at Port Stanvac.

The Adelaide Desalination Project will deliver up to 100 billion litres of water each year - about half of Adelaide's water supply. First water will be delivered via the plant in December 2010. The plant will be fully operational in late 2012.

In addition, we are working with McConnell Dowell Built Environs Joint Venture on the Transfer Pipeline for the Desalination Plant. The transfer pipeline system will deliver water from Port Stanvac to the Happy Valley water treatment supply. From there the water will enter the distribution network.
